How do we study Psychology? In this lesson we look at the goals of psychology, IV's and DV's and the three different types of experiment.

Lesson 3

In this lesson we will look at collecting data using questionnaires and interviews. This includes, likert scales, rating questions, open and closed questions, leading questions, loaded questions, double-barrelled questions and the use of absolutes in questions.

Lesson 4

In this lesson we will look at observation as a method of collecting data. This includes, time sampling, event sampling, instantaneous scan, predominant activity scan, one-zero scan. Also overt, covert, participant and non-participant observation.

Lesson 5 and 6

In lesson 5 we will design an observation checklist for observing a primary class during break time.

In lesson 6 we will go and observe primary pupils and use our observation checklists, then discuss our findings.
